IMPLEMENTATION

Phonics is taught to all children from EY to Y2 daily. Information regarding this can be found in the phonics section here.

In Key Stage 2, spelling is taught explicitly twice a week to all children. We follow the Spelling Shed program to ensure consistency and progression. As well as these spelling sessions in our timetable, all children have a login that they can use at home.

Please find below the information you may wish to read as to how you can help at home with learning spellings, how to use the Spelling Shed website and the progression of the spelling lists for Y3 to Y6. Please note, stage 3 relates to Year 3, stage 4 relates to Year 4 etc.
