We are committed to The Daily Mile - the aim of which is to improve the physical, emotional and social health and wellbeing of our children – regardless of age or personal circumstances. Its impact can be transformational - improving not only the childrens’ fitness, but also their concentration levels, mood, behaviour and general wellbeing. To take part you don't need to be an elite athlete - you don't even need a PE kit - just turn up in your school uniform, walk, jog or run - whatever pace suits you - and enjoy the fresh air and exercise!
Here are the timetabled days for each year group to have a go at the Daily Mile; we will begin at 8.45am - parents and carers are welcome to join in with their child as follows:
|Monday||Year 3 & Reception|
|Friday||Year 1 & 2|
Note: Parents and Carers of EYFS & KS1 children must stay and supervise if they are not taking part.
We're registered on as participants on the Daily Mile website - find out more about the amazing benefits of this challenge - http://thedailymile.co.uk/ - it brings a whole new meaning to the school run!
