SKITTLES was established at Chandlers Ridge in 1991, and provides quality childcare that is both affordable and flexible for children. Skittles provide pre and after school care for children aged from 4 – 11 years of age in school and from 3 years of age, if attending the school nursery. Children are looked after by trained staff in an environment that is safe, secure, caring, friendly and stimulating.
Skittles is run by Christine Pratt from the School Hall.
Skittles fit in with the needs of parents and carers; children can attend as and when needed. They can come either regularly, occasionally or should an emergency arise and you are unable to take your child to school for the start of the school day or you are unable to collect your child at the end of school.
How the club runs in school
Pre school is open from 7.30am – start of school, between 7.30am – 8.15am breakfast is provided, and after school starts when school ends at 3.30pm and closes at 6.00pm, term time only.
At the start of the school day children in nursery and reception are escorted to their teaching areas and children in years 1 and 2 are taken by staff into the playground and supervised until the teachers collect them for registration.
After school a member of staff collects children attending SKITTLES from nursery, reception and year 1.
If you would like further information contact Christine on 01642 320349 or visit SKITTLES in the school hall during a session.
SKITTLES is OFSTED registered and at our last inspection, April 2017, rated as good; click on the image opposite to read the full report.
