ParentMail Rollout FAQs

What is ParentMail?

ParentMail is a home-school communication app that will replace ParentPay, our online parents evening booking system and school app with one single app to do everything.  This will make communication much simpler between home and school as everything will be in one place!

Getting started

You need a registration link to set up a ParentMail account.  Links will be sent direct from ParentMail from Monday 15th January 2018.

Didn’t get an activation link?

Please check your email spam folder and text messages.  If you’ve not received a link please email with your mobile number, child’s name and year group and we will send a registration link.


I’ve got more than one child at school but have only received a registration link for one child!

Please register as per the instructions above and then contact the school office on with your children’s names and we’ll ensure that your family is set up correctly so you can see all your children when payments and parents evenings go live.


I’ve registered but can’t see my child’s details?

You will see your child’s details when absence reporting, parents evenings and payments go live.


I’ve registered, What happens next?

Please download the free ParentMail app from the AppStore or Play Store.  This will ensure you get the best experience from your ParentMail account, and that you can receive messages from school on the go.  Note, you can only report absence using the app.


ParentMail switch over dates

  • We will be using ParentMail to organise parents evenings to be held after half term from 29th January, so please ensure that you have registered your account before then.
  •  From 29th January we will also use ParentMail for absence notifications and all home school communication.
  • We will be using ParentMail to pay for school meals, trips and activities from 19th February (after half term).
  • Please use your ParentPay account to pay for items as usual until then.
  • If you are paying for school meals, please pay up to half term on ParentPay (to 9th February).
  • If you have already paid in advance for your school meals past 9th February your ParentMail account will reflect this.
  • If you have paid towards a trip or residential, your ParentMail account will reflect this and the balance due will be brought forward.

Book Parents Evening appointments 29th January
Notify us of an absence 29th January
Receive letters and messages 29th January
Pay for meals and activities 19th February
