We are committed to The Daily Mile – the aim of which is to improve the physical, emotional and social health and wellbeing of our children – regardless of age or personal circumstances.
Its impact can be transformational – improving not only the childrens’ fitness, but also their concentration levels, mood, behaviour and general wellbeing.
We’ve now settled on timetabled days for each year group to have a go at the Daily Mile. We will begin at 8.45am – 8.55am and parents and carers are welcome to join in with their child. A member of staff will be outside on the track from 8.45am, however if your child is in Y1 or 2 we ask you to stay with them until they are safely in school.
