Enabling and celebrating achievement is an important part of what we are about, whether this is shown as an outstanding piece of work in school; as part of a sporting activity; or something that has been achieved at home; for example a music examination or other activity.
Each Friday an Assembly is held to recognise achievement throughout the school. This rewards individuals for working hard, producing a fantastic piece of work or being a great member of the school. The children receive a Chandlers Ridge special award sticker.
Sporting achievement is also recognised in Friday assembly. Recognition is given to children who have taken part either in a team or individually, they usually receive a certificate or have medals presented.
During key stage assemblies, children are rewarded for handwriting skills and receive a certificate. Their work is displayed in their classroom for the week.
